Data Deletion

How to remove your data from Fidus Social: disconnect Instagram, Facebook Pages or TikTok yourself, or ask us to delete your account, workspace and campaign data. These are also our data deletion instructions for Meta and TikTok users.

Disconnect Instagram

Sign in, open Settings, and select Disconnect next to the Instagram account. This removes the stored Instagram connection token and stops campaigns from sending private replies for that workspace.

You can also remove Fidus Social from your Instagram or Facebook account settings, in the list of apps and business integrations you have connected.

Disconnect Facebook Pages

Sign in, open Social settings, and select Disconnect for Facebook. This deletes the stored Page tokens, and Fidus Social can no longer publish to those Pages.

Disconnect TikTok

  • In Fidus Social: sign in, open the TikTok page or Social settings, and select Disconnect for TikTok. We revoke the access token with TikTok and delete your TikTok tokens from our database immediately. Nothing more can be posted to that TikTok account.
  • In the TikTok app: go to Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions, and remove Fidus Social.
  • To delete everything else we hold about your TikTok connection and posts (account name, post records and uploaded videos), email privacy@fidus.media as described below. We confirm deletion within 30 days.

Delete account and workspace data

To delete your account, workspace, content files, campaign, log, webhook and operational diagnostic data, email privacy@fidus.media from the email address you use to sign in. Include the workspace name and the Instagram username, Facebook Page or TikTok account connected to the workspace.

We delete the data and confirm by email within 30 days of your request.

Verification

We may ask you to verify control of the email address or connected business account before deleting data. Deletion requests are processed as quickly as practical unless retention is required for legal, billing, fraud prevention, or security reasons.

More details are in our Privacy Policy.
